Ear pain...?

Hi all...

I am not sure where to post this since I am asking all cluster sufferers so here it is! :)

I went to the doctors this morning (well Marty and I since he had to translate!) because my ear has been bothering me since Wednesday. It is painful,  my hearing is off and I get dizzy at times. I have had a long history with ear infections so I was worried about that not to mention the fact that is has been making the CH worse.

Anyways, I do not have an infection so she (and Marty) said that maybe it is due to the headaches. Have you guys had this at all?

I get some ear pain and ringing but nothing quite like this... I swear I think that they should chop off my head and give me a new one or a partial one. Anyone know of any body who does head transplants? Send me their number if you do!

Thanks ahead of time for the input. The other news is that this doctor listened to me and I now have a prescription for sandomigran to pick up which is used specifically for CH.. the only medication I think that I have not tried so we will see!

Thanks again and hugs

I really can't help much there...

I get ear pain sometimes because i have a small ear canal on the right side, So ive had lots of infections in it. (Louisha has that too, Not sure about Riley)

As for as that im out because with a hit i get a 'full' ear and that lasts for few hours after the hit. I mean 'full' like it is full of water and it feels like it needs to pop and it will be ok i can't hear great out of it but no pain.

Sorry im not of more help, Im glad you have something new to try though ! Thats good news i hope it helps some. Ive read a little about it but have never taken it myself as my doc said it's not approved in the UK yet.

No . I do have tinnitis in my left ear .... came along with CH's . A constant ringing that increases in pitch and volumn with hits .

Thanks guys...

Maybe it is another one of those weird things that just happens sometimes! I am not sure what it is but I do not know that it hurts and it hurts my head too. And it sucks!

I will have to see if it goes away in the next few days or something, who knows!

Onto the sandomigran, I wonder why they have not authorized in other countries like the US or the UK... it says on the label that it is used for hortons syndrom which is Clusters in Swedish.. so strange.

I will let you know how it works!

Thanks and hugs
