It was a very good weekend and a good start to the store being open! We had a preview on Thursday where friends came, that was nice and then we were open on Friday, Saturday and today.

I did pretty good with sales and it was good to see that people came from all over because of seeing the ad in the paper! That was promising!

I was so frusterated though because my head has been WAY less than cooperative and I think that I am starting another bad cycle. Marty thought that this was coming last week so I think that he was right.

I am fighting as much as I can but it is affecting my mood and I am so mad that it starts now, when I am trying to do something new and needed.

I am crossing my fingers that this is a fluke but I am not sure.

Anyways, sorry for crushing a good post. Thanks for the wishes!

But sounds like it is going well and thats awesome im very pleased for you i hope it is a huge sucess and you make the money you deserve! So you have the people in the shop the hard bit is keeping them there ! Update often to keep it fresh and exciting.

Hang in there Jill you are and will do great ! Tell the beast to buy something or get out . If the beast is uncooperative , tell your customers you have to step in back to handle a special order . You'll be surprised to find out how many times you can come up for air between handling the special orders . Hang tough Jill. I've closed for the day at 10 am more times than I can remember . Note on door , went to funeral , family emergency , etc ....... people are only glad to see you back when you reopen ! Remember stress is a trigger ; so give yourself permission to deal the beast however you must ! Relax............ no stress ........ blockout all the financial worries and allow yourself to survive to fight another day !
