nerve blockAnyone had one ? good? bad ?
im having one done on the 26th so wondered if anyone else had tried one and how well it worked/didnt work

What type of block is it Ike ?
Micheal ( Wildhaus ) had sub occipital block and it worked quite well for him, given him the most painfree time compared with other meds.

Don't know about this . But I'd hope for good results .I see alot of guys with back injuries and they get nerve blocks 2x's a year . Sometimes they work great and other times not to good . I think it has to do with how accurately the block is placed . Hey since everyone responds differently to different approaches , I'd be optomistic . I had just asked about this again in Jan. I can't recall why I haven't at least tried that . I'd be psyched to rule in or rule out anything new , as long as we're not contemplating some sever possible down side . Good luck . Phil i heard about the same it works well one time and not so well the next all depends on where they do it and if they get the right spot, i dont know many that have had it for ch,
Im having the GON and its the temp one could give up to 6weeks pf time but no more, my neuro said sometimes it makes ch worse for the first 24 hours but then takes effect, some people only have 12hours pain free but some have 6weeks !! 6WEEKS !! can you imagine ?? wow i wish.
im feeling hopeful about it i really am. there is another block that can be done but injecting something that permantly blocks pain, not sure how new this is but somes promising.

6days 5nights now pf free!!!! 2more days and it will be the longest break in 2years !! had a few shadows and had a weird feeling last night it woke me up and it was a slight but deep pain like a cluster was trying but couldnt get through, it was like a k0.5 so nothing at all but i knew it was there. F**k great to be pain free and i even had a HOT BATH ive not had one in 2years because its a trigger for me so it was so so nice to have one and not even a twinge from it !!
its kinda strange because i feel very nervous waiting for one, i know thats stupid but i still take o2 out with me and Ch is never far from my thoughts.
i well recomend one to anyone !!
