Weather..............I'm tired of the f---ing rain . I see it may become snow in a few hours . My CH's are kicking my ass today and really bad tonight ......... 8 hits Sunday and here comes Monday morning and my 1-6 am window of hits. It's dark.......... :smt104 :smt104 :smt108 :smt108  :smt104 :smt104 I pray for a couple of pain free hours . I can't sleep . I'm afraid of sleep now . The tintinitis is whistling like a frieght train...............It's the same side as my CH................ Ice packs , O2 , Hot tub , red bulls , coffee ... lidocane..... I used maxalt 2x's in last 18 hours ..... I don't think it helped ... I think I can use it 3x's in 24 hrs , I'll wait ........... pacing... coming out of my skin ... back to the tub..... it was a dark and stormy night......... the little ship was tossed...................... :smt108 :smt108.... O2 do that thing you do ....

Sorry your getting hit so hard Can you take any triptans ? was thinking maybe frova, that seems to have a good few hour window on it far to slow as an abortive but if taken at a time you normally get hit it can work well, if i want a good nights sleep i take it at 8pm (my normal 1st hit is 11) and sometimes i can get a full nights sleep and miss all the night hits, sometimes it does nothing at all it might be worth a try tho ?

Thanks Ike , I'll try that strategy tonight . I have plenty of frova and never had much luck as an abortive , but maybe sort of a preventive/delay thing might work . I've never tried that before . OK now I'm psyched . Something new, anything new . Thanks Ike ,I'll give it a try . Anyway the ship survived the storm..... I know I always do . But at times it is so dark , dark.... and I'm not sure an end is coming ......... Today's a new day . ..... phil h

Ike , Thank you and I hope you're handling all of your trials ...... I pray for all of you every day a couple of x's . My CH bullshit seems so trivial compared what you're dealing with . My personal stress triggers me soooooo bad and I cannot be in a hospital for more than 30 minutes with being triggered . Even when it's not personal stress , it's the hospital . I know God gives us what we need to get by , but the beast has his plans . I pray for you my friend and that you may be delivered from your pain , fear and suffering . I knew exactly what you were going to say when I read your topic...I was right with you, as usual...you and I seem very in sync with our puking and CH's, and going out of our minds...
I too get traumatized being at the hospital...I was trying to explain that to Kath. I just get severly anxious, and feel like they don't understand me...I love to work at the hospital, just don't like being a patient...
I actually pulled my IV out today, on the second bag of saline after about three units...I had to get out of there. I felt so horrible, so beat up and sick...I just ripped the son of a bitch out.
I went to the nurses station, I said, "I know, I know...and I want to thank of all of you, but I have to get the hell out of here"
I also took four Maxalt in about twelve hours...
Im with you Phil...you have been on my mind too.

Sherri , You went to the hospital ? Then you pulled out your IV ? Oh, they must love you .  I know.... I took myself off life support and tried to get dressed to leave . (11/06) Lucky I couldn't walk ....... I just wanted to be anywhere that wasn't bright and beeping and all too many forms of sight and sound triggers . Alot of smells in the hospital trigger me as well . You must have been really hurting ... to go there ...... I go because I think my head will explode and that they can make it stop . I feel better subjecting them to this stage then exposing my family to THAT . I hope you are coming around........ I'll call tomorrow . I'm still pretty played out ..... Yes we are the same weather triggering cycle............ And I am with you also .... phil h

Yes, the staff was quite impressed with my behavior. They were a great group of people...I had an awesome female Dr. and a nurse that was an angel and also great at her job, started a great IV...hit the first time, AND the bag was dripping fast.
Another very impressive move I made at the hospital, was the day my daughter was born. I had her at 4:14PM...so I missed dinner. I was STARVING at about 9pm...and across the street from the hospital, I could see a Kentucky fried Chicken place. I decided, it would be no big deal to get dressed and run across the street and get something to eat and come back...I did get dressed, and attempted to non-chalantly walk out of the maternity ward.
It didn't work out, due to the five nurses running after me. They finally brought me a turkey sandwhich and a piece of cake at 11pm...they really liked me I think.
Very smooth move there Phil..."Hey, I'll just take myself off of live support...if only I could walk".... :smt104  You too are in "the great patient's hall of fame"???

THANKS IKE , I took frova before bed and backed my first am hit down by about 3 hours , actually I didn't have any hits in the 7-10 kip range this morning . All 6's , a bit of a break and only 3 hits . OK IKE , now I'll see if I can reproduce this affect again tonight . I had really quit on frova . It had yet to prove effective as an abortive for me . So now , It may work between a preventative and an abortive............... We'll see . I'll try again tonight . This afternoon began with a pair of 7's .............. Ike , the frova to slow the am cycle of hits worked as a 2-3 hour delay for 5 nights . A turn in the weather ended the run on night 6 . I continued this strategy for 3 more nights without any positive results . The weather gives the beast strength.................. :smt104 :smt104
