Thanks Ike. Went a mtg this morning and had to stand outside for awhile , then waited in the car for Laura for 30 minutes . I felt a little funny then the beast appeared to dance somemore . Had all my tricks with me . I forced myself to go to see a buddy celebrate 26 years . Shook his hand outside and never made it in . ..... Oh well....... :smt108

Had no idea that I entered a marathon dance contest with the beast...... I'll get someone to take me for trigger points today . It's been rainning for 14 hours , no let up in sight . Lost power for 8 hours . Would have been ok if not for the constant sirens all night . More music to dance to . I can't wait to feel well enough to begin living again ......... for now I dance on with weary feet . Bad enough I have I have 2 left feet .  :smt108 :smt108 :smt108

How are you doing Phil? Did the storm at least stop?
I think that the beast must have all of our numbers or something... it is so strange the way that we can all get slammed around the same time. I have not been too bad this afternoon though I have had a lot of coffee and that might have helped. Who knows at this point.
I really hope that you get a break soon and let us know how you are doing!

Thanks Jill . I hope you stay well . Rain slowed down . I got trigger point injections at 10am , beast came a knocking at 5pm ...oh well , this weather and season are tough . It is strange that we all seem to get whacked hard around the same time ; so far apart geographically ...... Maybe it's like how Santa Claus knew where to find us ? I had a rough night here too - we had lots of rain and I am assuming that is what did it. I swear I could be a weather predictor and just use the pain in my head. :(
I love the idea about the Santa Claus - there must be something out there that is world wide and connects us all to the beast. You know like the Chaos theory - a butterfly flaps his wings somewhere and we all get CH.
Thanks for the compliment about the site - it is a work in progress! I want to change a few things around and then I have to work on spreading the word some more - so pass it on if you do not mind! :)

I would have never said this a month ago, I hated coffee than and rarely drank it unless I was desperate but now I have it everyday! It is a blessing with the headaches... and is cheaper than the energy drinks.
The coffee is always on here!

Me too guys...I find it really strange too, I mean that we all get slammed at the same time, and we're all so geographically far apart...Phil only lives an hour and something from me, so Im not surprised when he feels as awful as I do, but then when he would tell me that you guys were getting creamed too I found that odd.
There's some golden thread that links all of us, thats it period in my mind.
I love Red Bull, but they are really exspensive...Jill is right...coffee is much less exspensive, and I don't question a good thing anymore if you know what I mean...
It's after Midnight here, and I've been getting slammed for the past two days around the clock, but that's not out of the ordinary for me...I was lucky...I got a few hours of sleep.
Sleep heals me...is my best, best friend with CH...at this moment, I feel normal. Im not delusional, having anxiety attacks, I can think straight...My God, it feels great to feel normal. Im starting to get tired again, and hope to sleep some more A hit woke me up...but since I had gotten some real sleep, I handled it better. Goodnight CCH Angels

Passed out for 4 1/2 hours .......Dreamt I was dying slowly from a wound to my head . I was awakened by a tremendous CH ......... Happy to be alive ; not happy to be in pain .....I guess that is really a reoccuring nightmare that many of us may have had . I assume I was suffering, but passed out and had so lower level K's while I slept . I do feel a little stronger .............. I must prepare for the encore . I need cigarettes , energy drinks , made the last pot of coffee at 3am . I gotta go get supplies ....................... Im in ok spirits but getting slammed really hard, ive got a F**k tooth ache and that is really setting my head off, I cant cope with light today its very sunny outside as as soon as the light hits me BANG im hit within seconds of being in the light..... it's been years since ive been like that F**k hate it ...

I just got an electrical shock trying to repair a lamp . Handy I'm not ! My head and pain aura cleared .... I don't know what happened. interesting.... I will not try to replicate this experience.......... have any of us had shock therapy ? I must look into this ! Always a hopeful suffering insufferable chronic clusterhead ! :smt108 :smt108 :smt108

Ouch guys. Having a rough day...my head is not at all good. I had to go to the Dr. today, and the light in the office was killing me. I had my sunglasses on, and was covering my eyes too.
Phil, I have a standing invitation to the dance...with no expiration date. So Im always invited, the car is always waiting for me, around the clock.
On the way there, my head was pounding. While I was sitting in the waiting room it was just pounding, I could feel it, inside and out. I had my fingers on my temples, and could literally feel the vein in my temple standing out, and pulsing. I took some meds on the way there, and it took awhile for them to kick in. I was left waiting a long time, so they kicked in right before I saw the Dr. Then they just wore off again. I am very, very lucky today. An angel brought me a few Reds Bulls and some Rock Stars to drink and Red Bull shots. I have put one in the freezer, and Im waiting for it to get cold.
Oh, one Dr. I went to suggested shock treatment for me. I looked at him like he was out of his mind. I thought it sounded kind of barbaric, and outdated. I pictured myself with a metal skull hat on, and metal ear things, kind of like ear phones that are flat and metal. It just sounded really freaky and frightening to me. They strap you down, a tongue blade is put in your mouth between your teeth so you don't bite your tongue, and zap you with a high voltage of electricity. It hasn't changed. Shock treatment is just as barbaric as it was.
I asked a few people about it, and they said don't do it. I am afraid I will not be me anymore, lose my personality and become catatonic. So what is the lesser of two evils? Maybe it would work, and I no longer would have CH but I"d no longer be me either. And maybe it wouldn't work and I'd lose my personality from it as well. Has anyone had it? If anyone has, I'd like to hear about it, and if it helped and if anything about you changed. I feel it's a huge risk, and may damage me irreversibly and I'd still have CCH's anyway.
My head hurts...God Im tired of this. I hope you're all having a good, pf day. Love and Peace to all my CCH Angels.

I hope they work well, and you get relief and rest, God knows you need it and more than deserve it.
Sending you all the positive vibes I have.  Do what you have to do to relax, have your Red Bulls/Rock Stars and coffee ready, your ice paks, etc...
Try to be still, set a relaxed atmosphere and you will fall to sleep. Just resting your eyes still helps. Relax your mind, and don't allow yourself to become over tired.

TP's resulted in 6 hours of sleep. Sound sleep. Awakened At 4am by some hard shadows and painful neck ....... Hey , I'll take this any day ! Now chasing neck pain and shadows...ice packs and heating collar around neck....still feel like a numbskull........Dreamt well..no nightmares ..

Ike, Im not sure if you're referring to shock tx's, but yes, they do still do them in mental hospitals.
I've heard they can be beneficial for really aggressive, insane people. Whether that 's true or not, I don't know. Phil would know more about it than me.
Being that Phil secretly has shock tx's, and just refuses to tell all of us.  Im just kidding. No, I mean being that some of his patients may have had them, and he knows so many Dr's.
I would still be very leary about agreeing to be zapped with high voltage electricity...just sounds like it could go really wrong...
