Hey all you chronics,
Jill posed a good question on another topic, about are we getting hit more because we're exhausted and can't fight, etc.
I know that all of us can't sleep as we should. It's screwed up. I feel that it's one of the biggest problems for me, now that I look at it.
I told Ike this already, but I no longer count how many hours I sleep, it's the quality of sleep. Two hours, in a deep sleep, usually renews me. It's been a long time since I've gotten a full nites sleep. Four hours straight, in a deep sleep, is what I consider fantastic now. Usually I get two hours at a time, that's my pattern.
Sometimes even the "passed out" sleep I get while being hit, I feel better from... Im talking about when you find yourself on the floor, wherever you are when you're getting hit, and realize, "it's over" and that you had been getting slammed two hours prior.
I spend alot of my life sleep deprived, and really hate it. I notice how sleep deprived I am after I get some sleep. Life isnt as horrible when Im rested. I can think, my attitude is much better, if I get hit and Im rested, I definately see that my ability to hang on in better.
Just wondered if anyone else is usually a walking zombie too. And what your sleeping patterns are like. _________________ "Great spirits have always encountered VIOLENT opposition from the MEDIOCRITIES." -Einstein. |

I agree with you 100%.
I walk around like a zombie all the time 2hrs is about average for me most of the time i cant think i get silly words mixed up, While camping the other day i kept calling the tent a kite not once but every bloody time even tho i know it was wrong but my brain just couldnt correct itself.
It's nice to have 4-5 hrs sleep and you see life is better when recharged _________________ If you dance with the devil the devil don't change, The devil changes you

That's exactly what I mean Ike. I do the exact same things. You can't say words you want to, you're so wiped out.
I would like to do things to improve this somehow. Maybe taking Melatonin. Does anyone take it? Does it help? Does anyone have anything special they do when they're sleep deprived to make it better? I just don't know what to do about this. :smt022 :smt108 _________________ "Great spirits have always encountered VIOLENT opposition from the MEDIOCRITIES." -Einstein. |

I use melatonin 15mg a night, Worked well for a while but now does nothing so i use it only a few days a month so that it still has effect id recomend it to try but use it sparingly, What i do use tho as my tricks are frova at night works well for about 10hrs but same you must use sparingly.
Edited because i changed my mind (ill pm you as thought i shouldnt post something damgerous) _________________ If you dance with the devil the devil don't change, The devil changes you

I'm not sure I know what good sleep is right now . Even with 2-3 hrs sleep in 2 sessions , is more like just passing out . Almost always awakened by a hit . This walking around in a partial dream state is the worst of both worlds .........Dangerous too _________________ "Suddenly a huge phantom bird sank three talons of its angry claws deeply into my head and face and tried to lift me. Maybe a sledge hammer to the back of the head would do it? :smt104 _________________ "Great spirits have always encountered VIOLENT opposition from the MEDIOCRITIES." -Einstein. |
